Uncomfortable Bill Clinton caught off-guard when ABC reporter asked if
Former U.S. President Bill Clinton debuted as a speaker on the 2016 presidential campaign trail on Monday by telling voters of the softer side of the Democratic presidential pacesetter his wife Hillary Clinton.
Donald Trump has dubbed Bill Clinton “one of the great women abusers of all time” in a blistering attack on the ex-President.
Clinton said he believes the 2016 election “is about rebuilding the American dream”.
“I do not believe in my lifetime anybody has run for this job in a moment of great importance who is better qualified by knowledge, experience and temperament to do what needs to be done”, he said.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) edges past her by over 4 percent in New Hampshire, but lags behind the former first lady by approximately 21 points nationwide.
“It’ll be interesting to see whether they send him to places where he himself did particularly well back in the day, which would be among more working-class, blue-collar Democrats”, he said. “It’s snow. And Bill Clinton’s here”, community college President Lucille Jordan said in her introduction.
“He still commands crowds, he’s still wildly popular, he could still probably get elected if he were eligible”, said Christopher Jenkins of Lowell on his way into Monday’s event. In his speech, Mr Clinton made only a glancing, indirect reference to Mr Trump, saying: “I’m a happy grandfather”.

He has called the ex-president and “abuser” of women, and called Hillary Clinton hypocritical for bringing her husband on the campaign trail as she discusses her stances on women’s rights.
In 1998, the House voted to impeach, or formally accuse, then-president Clinton of perjury and obstruction. Hillary Clinton doesn’t have the strength or stamina to be president.
He made no direct reference to Donald Trump, the brash billionaire dominating the Republican race for the White House who recently stepped up personal attacks on both Clintons.
“It’s kind of scary”, he said in reference to the campaign, urging supporters to take the candidates seriously. He also spoke of his wife’s efforts to work with former Republican Rep. Tom Delay -“the Ted Cruz of the pre-Tea Party era”, Clinton said-to achieve foster care reform in the 1990s.
