United States appoints Sarah Sanders as White House press secretary
“There’s obviously a communications problem”, he said on CNN’s “State of the Union”.
Being called a “hack politician” by someone in the media or by someone opposing his ideas wouldn’t surprise President Donald Trump in the slightest.
“While all agree the U. S. President has the complete power to pardon, why think of that when only crime so far is LEAKS against us”, Mr. Trump tweeted on Saturday.
However, during the Friday’s briefing, Scaramucci apologized for the remarks, calling them “one of the biggest mistakes that I made because I was an unexperienced person in the world of politics”.
In fact, back then, in 2015, he tore into candidate Trump on the Fox Business channel. He said he wants to narrow the gap between what he thinks of the president and what he sees as the press’ view of Trump.
Perhaps aware of the talk of his past views, on Friday evening, Scaramucci tweeted that his political views “don’t matter” and that he serves President Trump.
Scaramucci’s hiring on Friday led to the departure of press secretary Sean Spicer, who resented working for the former hedge fund executive with no professional communications experience.
Tapper then brought up how Scaramucci said Trump still didn’t accept his own intelligence agencies’ conclusion that Russian Federation meddled in the 2016 election.
“A new INTELLIGENCE LEAK from the Amazon Washington Post, this time against A.G. Jeff Sessions. These illegal leaks, like Comey’s, must stop!” Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., as his running mate. “And if Professor Tribe is listening, I know he doesn’t like the president, but I did get an A- in your course”.
Scaramucci’s appointment brought about the departure of Sean Spicer who “vehemently” disagreed with the staffing changes. He wanted Spicer to keep his job since the power would still remain with the press secretary, while the communication director’s position is a ceremonial title with no responsibility. That’s what we want to know, that’s what we want to know. “I will take dramatic action to stop those leaks”.
In any case, this weekend Trump also seemed to hint he believes he could just pardon himself and anyone else on his team federal investigators find colluded with said hackers, so that’s nice for him.
