University of Rhode Island says students safe in Paris
Another American, Helen Jane Wilson, was wounded in the attack on the Bataclan Concert Hall, where almost 90 were killed.
A name tag on a dorm room door, which has the name of a UConn student was vandalized after the terrorism in Paris occurred on Friday night. Time Warner Cable News heard from one of them via Skype.
“I was at my computer and I had just finished playing video games when I got texts asking whether I was alright”, he said.
The University of Texas at Austin confirmed 70 students were studying in Paris. Yesterday, Rachel’s mother made a phone call that no parent should ever have to make. “Our thoughts go out to the victim’s loved ones and the entire Long Beach State community”.
Rivera said program directors in Paris have been doing a good job reaching out to students.

The reported death toll from as many as six terrorist attacks throughout the city varied widely.
ISIS corroborated its responsibility for the attacks in Paris, claiming they were the “first of the storm”.
French President Francois Hollande identified the incident as terrorism and said France would stand firm against acts of violence.
