According to News Channel 21, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki said that younger generations don’t want to consume television through traditional channels anymore.
The new service will include a mix of broadcast (ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC), regional sports, and cable programming for $35 per month. YouTube product chief Neal Mohan says the company has been working on YouTube TV for two years; he promises that you’ll see the results when you actually get to play with it.

The ability to save unlimited shows to a cloud DVR and have access to them on your devices sounds like a neat idea.
It will cost $35 per month and there are no contracts, so you can cancel whenever you want.

Subscribers will be able to add on Showtime or Fox Soccer Plus to their lineup for an additional charge. More than 40 networks are available at this point.
Google is taking the plunge into live television with a new streaming service that’s created to compete against SlingTV, DirecTV Now and Playstation Vue. The service will let you access recorded and live content from major networks.
The move could also force Facebook’s hand to launch a similar service, since the social media giant has been busy trying to establish itself as a competitor to YouTube on the video and advertising front.
