‘Unpredictable’ Simon Lynch turns Cheryl Fernandez Versini to MUSH on X Factor

After what has been described as a stand out performance of “If I Were A Boy” by Beyoncé, 23 year old Simon Lynch, who works in marketing get his showbiz break on tonight’s biggest United Kingdom talent show.

Speaking to The Sun of the heart-wrenching scenes, Simon said: “They were very cautious about showing the footage to me in the first place for obvious reasons”.

Ahem. You have a doting girlfriend and son at home, Simon! Of course this made all the contestants very nervous!

Rita liked Phillips’ performance of Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing and felt her passion, but in the end decided that Shianne was not up to the standard she was looking for.

“You can’t censor stuff like that. He wasn’t doing it to make me upset”. It started like we were getting some sort of joke / creepy Olly Murs tribute act, but when he got to covering Drake and then “Uptown Funk”, he turned into someone really good in his own right. “Being upset is a human thing”.

USA Today reported the auditions were taped shortly after the loss of Cowell’s mother, Julie Brett, on July 5, which could explain the more emotional response to the performance. “Simon is good, he needs a few new lines”.

Simon Cowell is known for his tough guy persona on reality television, especially during his run on American Idol.

“I know it sounds like a cliché, but having such a strong bond with my mum meant I knew exactly what she’d have said”. There are pubs you can play in and you do have lovely venues but if you want to take it seriously you have to leave.
