US mother defends breastfeeding friend’s son
She was hit with so much negativity that after writing the post, she eventually pulled it. What was so controversial?
When Jessica Anne Colletti shared this picture on Facebook of herself breastfeeding her own son on the right and her friend’s son on the left, she hoped to help normalise breastfeeding – in all its forms.
“She (Interrante) was breastfeeding but didn’t have time to pump – I was already breastfeeding my son and it just made sense to nourish him in the same way”, Mrs Colletti said. Explains Colletti while using the hashtag #milksiblings. So much love between these milk siblings, it’s a special bond between us all.
“More needs to be done to encourage wet nursing”.
Some have praised it as a “beautiful thing”, whilst others have insisted that women should never breastfeed someone else’s child.
And barber Interrante insists Colletti is the “best mum she’s ever known”.
A mom in Pennsylvania is breastfeeding her own son and a friend’ simultaneously.

‘I feel breastfeeding someone else’s baby is totally over stepping.
One commenter said she believes breastfeeding is a sacred bond that should only be shared by mother and baby.
Another said, ‘I’m all for breastfeeding and all, but this just absurd…’ ‘I’m lucky enough to be able to feed my son while he is in childcare but lots of people can not.
Charlie Interrante, the friend and mother of Mateo, last month moved in with Mrs Colletti and her husband.
As long as her friend is ok with it, then it’s perfectly fine.
‘She knows I want nothing but the best four our boys, which is why she supports me breastfeeding our babies.’ .
“I wish that I could like this a million times!” Then go for your life. She was always very happy that her son had the nutrition and comfort he needed while she was working.
