Even though Donald Trump is now leading in most polls Nunberg predicts he will lose Iowa and New Hampshire and then struggle to gain back momentum in SC.
After Nunberg’s interview on Wednesday, Trump’s spokeswoman Hope Hicks said: “Sam Nunberg was sacked”. The mainstream media, while also claiming to be amazed at Trumps support, appears thrilled to have a controversially outspoken candidate to quote and critique, and is providing Trump with free media coverage virtually 24/7, even though the media are one of his most frequent targets. So when, after the San Bernardino attack, Trump called for banning Muslims from entering the country, much of the Republican base was receptive. “But for Barack Obama, Donald Trump’s effect would not be almost as strong as it is”.
Turnout could also be problematic for Trump. Hopefully, he will continue to cause them heartburn and his message of making America great again will continue to find strong support among Republican voters. These are big files of people’s names, addresses, party affiliations, how often they vote.

That’s the long-term problem. “But you still have to be responsible, no matter what the polls show or anything else”. At the moment, he’s about 16 percentage points behind Trump, and 18 behind Cruz.
The billionaire businessman is now polling in second place in the Hawkeye State, falling behind Texas Senator Ted Cruz, according to a Des Moines Register/Bloomberg poll released at the beginning of the month.
“If you attack Trump, he will attack you 10 times as hard”.
“I’m just hearing both sides of them and trying to pick between them”, Mahoney said.
“I don’t believe he is a racist, if you want to know the truth, but they called him a racist”.
The question of whether Trump’s supporters will turnout to caucuses and primaries has been widely discussed.
It’s worth looking at the numbers, however.
Earlier this month, CNN reported that Carson’s campaign was in crisis, and last week, the candidate himself pushed back against reports that said he was considering a major shakeup to his campaign staff, including senior staff assignments.
