USA Basketball accidentally ends up in brothel

But, one of Team USA’s latest trips was nearly a bit too fun while the team was in Brazil for the Rio Olympics. They soon found themselves inside a high-end brothel.

DeAndre Jordan, DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins, DeMar Derozan and possibly 3 other players went out on the town Wednesday night in Rio and strolled into Termas Monte Carlo … which Rolling Stone called “one of the high end brothels in Rio”. They headed to a building they thought was a spa.

Centaurus and Rio’s other high-end brothels, like Monte Carlo, Solarium and 4×4, are known as termas – which means they’re ostensibly spas. They have already been able to track down photos of Cousins and Jordan inside the building.

However, a source told the website that the fooled National Basketball Association players were only hanging out inside the bar to have drinks, and once they realized what the place actually was, they immediately left. The players quickly realized that the establishment was offering a different type of rest and relaxation than a typical spa so they paid their bar tabs and left.

To their credit, according to TMZ, the team members who were there supposedly didn’t know it was a brothel, but a spa, and upon finding out, simply finished their round of drinks and left.
