USC vs. OR: How they match up

Moving forward, OR hosts Oregon State at 1 p.m. Friday in the annual Civil War, a game that’s not expected to be much of a challenge for the Ducks – the Beavers are 0-8 in the Pac-12.

USC defensive linemen Delvon Simmons, Antwaun Woods and Greg Townsend Jr. – all seniors – have come on in the second half of the season. Oregon Ducks rank at 99 for 193.8 road passing yards where as Southern Cal Trojans rank at 91 for allowing 268.7 passing yards at home.

The Ducks (7-3) picked up their seventh win of the season in a thrilling victory against the Stanford Cardinal last week. “He’s not as rushed and he’s making his throws”.

Adams hit Dwayne Stanford with a 21-yard TD pass early in the third quarter, but USC closed the gap with consecutive touchdowns: Ronald Jones’ 12-yard rush and Adoree Jackson’s 41-yard punt return. K Andy Phillips set the Utah record last week with 58 career field goals….

In the Pac-12, Utah is playing UCLA and Stanford faces rival California, while Alabama gets Charleston Southern and Florida faces Florida Atlantic. Absolutely. There’s something to be said for stability, and Helton has provided that in a huge way following Steve Sarkisian’s firing for alcohol-related issues.
