Va. Tech student arrested in case of missing teen
Former high school track star David Eisenhauer of Columbia has been arrested in Virginia in connection with the disappearance of a teenage girl, Blacksburg police said.
Virginia Tech identified him as an engineering major.
David E. Eisenhauer, 18, of Columbia, Md., was arrested without incident early Saturday morning (Jan. 30).
Nicole has not yet been found, Blacksburg Police Spokesman Mike Albert said at a news conference Saturday afternoon.
Eisenhauer, who runs on the Va. Tech cross country team, is being held without bond at the Montgomery County Jail, WSET-TV reported. Nicole Madison Lovell is thought to have climbed out of her window in Blacksburg sometime between midnight and 7 a.m. Her family found a dresser pressed up against her bedroom door. Additionally, she may also have a blue blanket with yellow “Minions” animated characters.
