VACATION Gets A NSFW Trailer – Really

Since the park is closing forever, he wants to drive to it as his family did when he was young (see: National Lampoon’s Vacation).

In the new, mature-audience trailer for the R-rated comedy, viewers (and Ed Helms’ Rusty Griswold) learns that his wife (Christina Applegate) had a wild college alter ego, nicknamed “Debbie Do Anything”.

The real standout of the movie is undoubtedly Ed Helms though, who does an incredible job of subtly inheriting some of his on-screen father’s earnest naivete and charm.

Yet he entire filming process of “Vacation” – even that dive – was a big treat for the actor best known for “The Hangover” and “The Office”. So we were all just really freaked out by that.

“‘This is the first time we can say that we are writing it”, Daley said during an interview with NPR as reported by Heroic Hollywood. “Plus there was no air conditioning and, boy, that auto could get very hot inside!”

Chevy Chase and Beverley DiAngelo have returned as Clark and Ellen Griswold in Vacation. When someone can make me laugh and is good at they’re job… He came down and we were all clapping…

Just as special for Helms was having Chris Hemsworth sign on as the obnoxious, successful husband of Rusty Griswold’s sister, Audrey, played here by Leslie Mann.

“That scene with the underwear sight gag, I think people look at that and kind of quickly assume, “Oh it’s amusing because of the underwear sight gag.’ But it’s not, that’s not why it’s amusing”.
