Vancouver Canucks lose National Hockey League overtime game to host New Jersey Devils
So far the Devils have only dropped two games to the Blue Jackets and the Islanders, but New Jersey managed to get back in the game outplaying the defending Stanley Cup Champions – Chicago Blackhawks at Prudential Center.

Jordan Eberle and Andrej Sekera each scored their first goal of the season for Edmonton. I think Vancouver played real well early. Andrej Sekera cut it to 3-2 with 1:51 left and Edmonton goalie Cam Talbot on the bench for an extra attacker. Sven Baertschi pulled the Canucks even just 2:09 after that as Canucks defenseman Ben Sutton found him alone on the left circle for a quick shot into the left side of the net.
The Canucks grabbed the lead only 2:20 into the game with Chris Higgins beating Kinkaid between the pads from the slot.
