Vanessa Hudgens’ dad battling stage 4 cancer

She understandably choked up while dedicating her award to Austin’s late mother, as well as her father.

Hudgens will next star in the long-delayed zom-com Kitchen Sink – hitting US theaters September 4 and UK theaters November 6 – with Bob Odenkirk, Joan Cusack, Ed Westwick, and Patton Oswalt.

At the 2015 Industry Dance Awards, the High School musical actress wore the most intricate mustard and leather dress, with plenty of wow factor.

“Last year, my boyfriend, Austin, lost his mom, Lori, to cancer, and my dad has just been recently diagnosed with stage four cancer”, Hudgens said.

Vanessa Hudgens is opening up about her father Greg’s battle with cancer. “Let me tell you, I hate cancer”. “She’s a toughie. So I’m excited to kind of sink my teeth in to that”. Seeing how she just wrapped up her “Gigi” performance on Broadway, she has been spending as much time possible making memories with her beau. As you can see in the video below, Vanessa got choked up towards the end of the speech when she revealed her dedication.

However even though she avoided a colour clash, Vanessa still appeared very conscious of the bandages around her hand as she mingled with the likes of Paula Abdul.

This Hollywood couple has been through thick and thin, with Vanessa Hudgens helping him through his mother’s death as well as attending Hillsong concerts together.
