Vanilla Ice to compete on Dancing With The Stars
Fresh from their Olympics stint, Ryan Lochte and Laurie Hernandez will be joining the “Dancing With The Stars” Season 23 stage. This fall, I was planning on being immersed in rehearsals for Singin’ in the Rain on Broadway, but due to successes of the shows now running, that project has been delayed because there simply isn’t a theater available.
Singin’ in the Rain is taking a rain check. Although the show was going well on its own without Derek Hough, the viewers missed Derek’s presence in the show. “I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason”, he wrote in a caption of a video showing him dancing on the beach to The Chainsmokers and Daya’s hit “Don’t Let Me Down”.
Such names this season include model and TV host Amber Rose, Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez, embattled Olympian Ryan Lochte, rapper Vanilla Ice, music icon Babyface, “Taxi” star Marilu Henner, “The Brady Bunch” star Maureen McCormick, “Little Women: LA” star Terra Jole, race auto driver James Hinchcliffe, former Texas Governor Rick Perry, country singer Jana Kramer, Disney star Jake T. Austin and former National Football League wide receiver Calvin Johnson. It’s always great to be back with my “DWTS’ family, coaching, creating and making lasting memories”. The full cast of the show will be announced on Good Morning America tomorrow, and they should be coming out with their partner to show off who will be dancing with who.
As for “Dancing with the Stars” season 23 celebrity lineup, Entertainment Tonight learned that Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, singer-songwriter Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and “Brady Bunch” star Maureen McCormick were reportedly part of the official cast list of the competition. She speaks her mind on The Amber Rose Show on VH1.
Terra Jolé, star of “Little Women L.A.”, and Sasha Farber.
Derek Hough, who was revealed to star as Don Lockwood (the role made famous by Gene Kelly on screen), recently took to Instagram to post about the show’s delayed Broadway arrival.
Gov. Rick Perry, former 2016 presidential hopeful, and Emma Slater. Former troupe member Jenna Johnson will be a pro this season for her very first time.
