Vehicle crashes into Michigan house causing explosion
But in this case, the explosion was all too real – and so was the danger to one Lansing, Michigan family.
A Lansing Fire truck parked across the street from the damaged home recorded what happened next.
The explosion was caused by a vehicle crashing into a house, following a hit-and-run accident, hitting the homes propane tank.
A police cruiser got to the scene moments before the gas line exploded, destroying the home.
Luckily, a couple and their baby were evacuated by firefighters before the blast, the Journal reported. They are saying they have been sitting on their porch Sunday night time when the automotive slammed into their front room.
The Lansing Fire Department Monday released video of a home exploding earlier this month after a vehicle crashed into it.
That crash was caused by another driver who left the area.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Lansing Police.
