There was no slip ups from Murray though as he made it safely through to the last 16 after beating Australian John Millman 6-3 7-5 6-2 on Centre Court.
Murray is yet to drop a set with a 6-2, 6-3, 6-4 win over fellow Brit Liam Broady in the first round and a 6-3, 6-1, 6-1 victory against Taiwanese veteran and 2010 quarterfinalist Lu Yen-Hsun in the second.
