Vicky Pattison crowned I’m A Celebrity jungle queen

The fun-loving Geordie young lady beat Union J singer George Shelley and The Only Way Is Essex star Ferne McCann to the crown after an entertaining showdown which saw the trio compete three final trials on the ITV1 show.

Helen, 31, and her partner Aljaz Skorjanec are the 10th couple to be eliminated and have missed out on next weekend’s semi-final.

“It smelled of cockroach, tasted dirty, the body was mushy and gunky and the legs were spiky and crunchy”, she said.

She was filmed swirling the spider around to encourage it to roll into a ball before saying, “I’ve come this far I’m going to give it a go”.

She and George Shelley were the final two campmates, and in the tense and of course drawn-out moments when Ant and Dec were about to reveal the victor, a weepy Vicky clung to George – who was also emotional – and when Ant announced, “The new Queen of the Jungle is…” “I don’t even think I deserve it!”

It was a tense show and we were convinced that Ferne McCann, 25, would win the show after eating THAT spider.
