Victor of X Factor 2015 Announced
Some pretty big names were watching The X Factor’s Louisa Johnson triumph…
Leona, who was mentored by Cowell, has achieved global success since her win and remains the richest ever victor of the competition, having amassed a fortune of £13million, closely followed by 2011 champions Little Mix with £12million.
The Chafford Hundred singer, 17, burst into tears on hearing the news that she had triumphed over Reggie N’ Bollie in tonight’s final (Sunday).
“I’m so proud of Louisa”, said her mentor Rita Ora, ahead of the show. “Thank you so much”, said Louisa.
Louisa’s victory marked the end of one of the most dramatic series in recent years – it was a weekend final with highs and lows.
This series of the X Factor has drawn an average of 7 million per episode compared to 8 million previous year despite, or perhaps due to, Simon Cowell’s shake-up.
This might not be the last we hear from Reggie N Bollie, though.
“In week four, the nation suddenly fell for Reggie “N” Bollie and they beat Louisa by 0.1 percent”.
“I’ve believed in you from day one, thank you from the bottom of my heart”. Thank you so much. “I’ve got the most loyal supporters ever”. The aspiring singer criticised the decision, insisting: “This is why people hide mental illnesses and don’t get help, because it’s on their records and then something like this happens”. Footballer David Beckham was filmed singing along to one of their songs in the auto, before saying to them: “Congratulations, you’ve given us years of incredible moments and you need to come back soon”.
The boys hugged as they finished their emotional performance of History.
Simon Cowell achieved something of a coup by getting Adele on board to sing at Sunday night’s X Factor final, but not even the hugely popular “Hello” singer could save the ratings. Johnson confessed that he hasn’t calmed down at all since hearing the news and laughed: “I think he is more excited than me”. I know you’re gonna take a break, you deserve it.
