Video of Indian woman allegedly beating mother-in-law goes viral

Police have now arrested Jain and charged her with attempt to murder, but not before there were agonised voices on social media platforms that asked how someone could be so brutal.

The suspect’s husband, Sandeep Jain, secretly installed cameras in their Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh home to “expose” his wife, BBC News reports.

In his long post, Kundan says that Sangeeta has been married to the Rajrani Jain’s son Sandeep and a divorce case is now underway.

“We have registered a case under section 307 of IPC against the woman”.

“There is a history of violence between the accused woman and her in-laws”.

She is hit with a large stone, punched repeatedly in the head and choked. Her attacker is her own daughter-in-law. At times, it appears, she is trying to strangle the older woman. On January 5, he came to know from the CCTV footage that she “mercilessly thrashed” the old lady and informed the police at Nehtaur who allegedly turned him away. It looks like she is trying to strangle her. She also violently beats the elderly woman around the head with some kind of heavy object.
