Video render reveals how LG’s 2015 Nexus smartphone might look
LG and Google have been completely tight-lipped over the new smartphone’s existence and it isn’t the only Nexus featuring heavily on the rumour pages. As per the leak, this device is likely to carry plastic build and the Nexus logo along with the hump where the camera is located. In 2014, unfortunately, Google never partnered with anyone for a successor.
What else do we know about the upcoming LG Nexus 5 (2015)?
The corners look rounded off but the photo is a little unclear and we can’t really tell what material the back panel is using just yet.
LG Nexus 5 had lately been making enough rounds among the tech community with several fan-made renders and rumoured specifications.
Now, LG is expected to be the manufacturer of this smartphone and well, the company has been a pioneer with the laser autofocus on smartphones. Also, we shouldn’t discount optical image stabilisation considering the 2013 model had it. The purported image shows that the rear in white color.
The screen size is expected to be larger than 5-inches at 5.2-inches, though LG could keep the bezels in control and aim for a similar overall footprint as the Nexus 5 from 2013.
Additionally, GSM Arena also pointed out in their report that the camera lens for the Huawei Nexus 6 is going to be positioned differently, as the renders indicate that it will be on the nearly far right rear of the casing.
Google are expected to release its new Nexus devices when it releases Android M, so we are expecting to see these new handsets some time over the next few months.
