Video Shows Woman Escape Point-Blank Shooting by Gunman in Paris Attacks
Video footage from the scene of one of the Paris attacks has revealed one woman’s terrifying brush with death.
The video footage, obtained by the Daily Mail, shows those inside the restaurant react quickly to the gunfire by using the tables for cover.
Also a 20-year-old waitress was also seen taking cover inside the bar as thye militant started firing on her. This video appears to be the first one in which Islamic State militant was directly seen firing on innocent people enjoying their weekend.
Staff who had fled into a downstairs area later emerge and herd customers to safety in the basement.
But instead of going off, his gun appears to jam or misfire – and the woman manages to miraculously escape with her life.
But the gunman does not enter, instead he turns to his right, where two women are crouched on the ground, apparently under a table.
The restaurant is located in Paris’s fashionable 11th district, which is popular with middle class people who work in advertising and the media.
The Daily Mail reported that despite the large number of bullets shot at the site – all in less than a minute – none of the diners or staff inside the restaurant were killed, though two were lightly wounded by bullets.
The footage released Wednesday, comes after the architect of the terror attacks was killed in an hours-long gun battle with French police and military during a raid on a building in the Paris suburb Saint-Denis.
One of the most chilling parts of the video shows the gunman walking outside the restaurant calmly shooting victims before getting back into his vehicle.
The vehicle is reportedly a Black Seat, hired in Salah Abdeslam’s name, and later found abandoned in Montreuil.
