Vidya Balan turns 37, returns home from hospital

The actress had gone on a holiday with her hubby to celebrate the New Year, and also her birthday! She is in expert hands in the hospital.

The couple has now cancelled their New Year plans.

“Vidya is recovering well”. She is feeling better now. Vidya is being dealt with for a suspected kidney stone and will be released soon. Upon return, Siddharth got her admitted to the Khar Hinduja Hospital. She was admitted in Hinduja hospital, Mumbai on December 30th evening. Vidya Balan and her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur were en route an undisclosed destination overseas to usher in the New Year when she experienced sudden pain. The plane was taxing for take-off but the pain was so excruciating that paramedics were called on board and the duo was deplaned. She was taken to a clinic at the airport for further tests.

Just a few days back, when Vidya was quizzed about being so comfortable with sharing her age, the actress stated, “Age is just a number really, and we should not give it any more importance than that”.

After taking some medicines, the couple took a flight back to Mumbai and Vidya was immediately rushed to a suburban hospital. It is being said that Vidya might be suffering from the problem of kidney stones.
