Was Jessica Simpson drunk during Thursday’s Home Shopping Network appearance or just ditzy? It’s a normal thing and Jessica Simpson should not be demonized for it. Yikes! Could Nick’s response to Jessica’s antics be because she totally dissed their relationship on another TV appearance?

Viewers were left perplexed when the star kept wandering off screen unannounced before suddenly reappearing.

US Magazine called her appearance “bizarre”, and they report she “slurred” her words and seemed somewhat “dizzy”. So this could absolutely just be a case of Simpson being more bubbly than normal. Show host Lopez shared a snap of her and Simpson together later on her HSN Facebook page, declaring the event a “sell out show!” “They say for the lion’s share of her time on the show, she was lucid and polished”. “Sorry HSN I have turned the channel!!”

Simpson, 35, has not responded to accusations that she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the “sell-a-thon”. Since then, the singer has ventured into the world of fashion, and created the Jessica Simpson Collection in which she designs and markets handbags, shoes and boots. Was something wrong?
