Vigilant Las Vegas neighbour catches ‘burglars’ on camera
A homeowner in northwest Las Vegas is crediting her neighbor, who was armed with his camera phone and a handgun, with thwarting four men caught trying to burglarize her home.
“What you guys doing?” he asks the men as they run from the house.
“Yes it is”, said the man.
McCann confronted the four burglars with a camera and a gun outside the house in a clip that aired this morning on “Fox and Friends”.
In the video, one of the men is heard saying, “It’s my homeboy’s house”.
A neighbour filmed a gang of suspected burglars making their getaway in broad daylight from a house across the street near Las Vegas. “The police are coming right now”, he yells as they try to take off.
The confrontation lasted about 30 seconds with McCann getting clear video of the men as they tried to get away.
“I was watching their hands as they came out”, McCann recalled.
McCann says his intent was to keep the thieves around until police showed up and he was prepared to defend himself if something bad happened.
