Vijayvargiya compares Shotgun Sinha to dog, NCP terms it unfortunate Nov 10
BJP leader from Madhya Pradesh and a strategist for the Bihar polls, Kailash Vijayvargiya – who recently had to delete his tweets against Shah Rukh Khan after party censure – declared: “When a vehicle moves, a dog moves under it too, the dog believes that the auto is moving because of me”.
“The people of Bihar have given the huge mandate because they want a person from Bihar should become the chief minister”. My reaction to small or big flies in any party is “Haathi chale Bihar, ….bhaunken hazaar” Sinha tweeted.
He also said on Monday that Sinha’s identity in politics is because of the BJP and he alone should decide on his loyalty to the party.
“It’s the party’s honest workers who did their hardwork, winning and losing happens in a democracy but a person is identified by their behaviour after winning or losing”. The Bihari-Bahari slogan was a major part of Kumar’s campaign, alluding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah headlining their party’s activities in Bihar, instead of local leaders.
Backing Digvijaya Singh, National Congress Party leader Majeed Memon said, “This kind of statement is uncalled for and unfortunate. On one hand, we see that Arun Jaitley attributes the defeat in Bihar to bad mouthing and now this bad mouthing is continuing”, he added. “This is yet another example of sheer intolerance and arrogance”.
A war of words has broken out in the Bharatiya Janata Party after Bihar Assembly elections debacle as Patna Sahib MP Shatrughan Sinha on Tuesday hit back at senior leader Kailash Vijayvargiya over his dog remark.
“The actor- politician continued to impress the BJP as he met Nitish Kumar to congratulate him on the Grand Alliance’s victory”.
Sinha said he considers Kumar to be a “very good and respectable leader” after former West Bengal chief minister Jyoti Basu, and termed today’s meeting as one that should be viewed in healthy sportsman spirit. “Shatrughan Sinha’s identity in politics is because of the BJP and the party’s identity is not because of him”.
Heaping praise on Mr. Kumar, he said he was a “tried, tested and successful” Chief Minister.
The party indicated that motion was imminent towards the actor.
