Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson pulled a fast one on us!
Though we don’t have new info on how things are going between Diesel and Johnson, we now know ANOTHER Fast 8 costar’s thoughts on the actors’ feud as PEOPLE caught up with Jason Statham while promoting Mechanic: Resurrection and asked him about the drama!
The shout out is a nicer message then the one Diesel promised followers previously when he said he would reveal “everything” regarding his on-set spat with Johnson.
The magazine’s source claims that “They are playing a huge prank, and it’s all for publicity”, building up to a Wrestlemania match on April 2, 2017.
“My male co-stars however are a different story”, Diesel says in the caption.
Dwayne Johnson also known as the Rock is a former wrestler and superstar in WWE.
Johnson explained that conflict is good as long as it is followed by great resolution.
Vin Diesel admitted in a Facebook Live interview that The Rock wasn’t even considered for the part. “And like any family, we get better from it”. “That’s an officially (sic) wrap on #FastandFurious8”, Johnson wrote below a shot of himself posing by the open door of a private jet.
“Thank you to our director @fgarygray for the vision and execution”.
“The reason we brought Dwayne Johnson into Fast 5 was because of you!” Scott Eastwood you handsome sumbitch! “Natalie Emmanuel, I have a cold Budweiser ready for you and Tyrese Gibson you still have the biggest smile and forehead I’ve ever seen”, The Rock captioned the image.
The 37-year-old actor seemingly spoke about the feud, stating that he is “learning so much about sitting still and being centered in the [midst] of all of this unexpected energy”. A wrestling match between Diesel and The Rock would not only make me shell out 60 bucks for a pay-per-view, it would absolutely make me more hyped to see Fast 8.
