VIRAL VIDEO: GoPro falls into pit of rattlesnakes
Basically, a Montana man finds a rattlesnake den filled with dozens of snakes and decides it would be a good idea to film it with his GoPro camera.
While hiking around Southern California, it often goes without saying that you’ve got to be on the watch for rattlesnakes.
Delaney never explains how he retrieved his GoPro after it fell into the snake pit, but it’s really not something we want to imagine having to do ourselves. At first the snakes can be seen checking out the camera, but after a couple minutes they become agitated and start lunging at the camera.
GoPro’s official account made a decision to weigh in on the video with, “One bite and you’re hissstory! lol #GoPro”.
You would think that of all animals, snakes would be the least concerned for privacy.
Which means that poor old GoPro got off easy, with just a couple of handfuls of rattlesnakes biting it in the face. Delaney fished it out with a hockey stick and he had to clean venom off the camera. While the camera was dangling overhead, the snakes attacked it and eventually knocked it over into their pit, where they proceeded to crawl all over it.
