Virginia Tech Student Falsely Accused Of Murdering 13-Year-Old Girl?
Blacksburg police officials confirmed that a second Virginia Tech student, who is related to the abduction and death of Nicole Madison Lovell, has been arrested on Sunday morning for collaborating in the dispose of the remains of the 13-year-old Blacksburg girl. Her body was found on Saturday in Surry County, North Carolina, which is near the Virginia border, police said.
Another Virginia Tech student, 19-year-old Natalie Keepers, has been charged with one felony count of improper disposal of a body and one misdemeanor count of accessory after the fact in the commission of a felony. Lemon added, “It was really just a sickening feeling: knowing that she wouldn’t be coming back”.
Lovell went missing from her home on January 27 and was without medication that she required daily for a liver transplant, police said. Eisenhauer’s fellow student, Natalie Keepers, was arrested Sunday. Police said they acted on tip and information on social media to arrest him.
Eisenhauer, a native of Columbia, Maryland, is being charged with first-degree murder and abduction.
“God got [Nicole] through [her health issues], and she fought through all that, and he took her life”, Weeks said.
The college town of Blacksburg, Virginia is in mourning after the murder of a 13 year old girl. She has been missing from her home in Blacksburg since the middle of last week. Keating said he’s “appalled” by the thought that Eisenhauer could be involved in Lovell’s death. Nicole’s mother, Tammy Weeks, told the Washington Post that she was told her daughter met Eisenhauer online.
Drake said privacy laws prevent her from commenting on Nicole’s experience, but she said the school has anti-bullying programs.
In response to his arrest, The Virginia Tech Police Department issued a statement saying, “The entire Virginia Tech community extends its support to Nichole’s family and friends”.
“Speaking on behalf of our community, let me say that our hearts go out to Nicole’s family and friends”, he said in a statement posted to the school’s website.
The police chief said the Blacksburg community is reeling from the girl’s death. On Sunday, Virginia State Police said divers in scuba gear were searching a lake on campus, WDBJ reported. “This has been an extremely fast-paced investigation in just the past 12 hours”, Wilson said at a news conference late Saturday.
