Vivica A. Fox joining cast of ‘Empire’
Empire is making way for another larger-than-life personality, with the addition of Vivica A. Fox to the cast.
By the way, Tasha Smith plays Cookie’s other sister, who was previously introduced last season, appearing in 3 episodes. According to EW, Fox will star on the show as Cookie’s older sister and will arrive on the scene in search of her sis for mysterious reasons.
Marisa Tomei plays lesbian venture capitalist Mimi Whiteman in “Empire” Season 2 and just might be a love interest for Cookie.
Chaiken also put rumors to rest and revealed that despite speculations that Cookie is the rat, she in fact did not tell on her own husband.
Earlier this year, Fox, best known for her roles in films like Set It Off, Soul Food and Kill Bill, was sacked from presidential candidate Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice.
Chris Rock, Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz, Ludacris, Al Sharpton, Andre Leon Talley, and Ne-Yo are also likely to guest star in the upcoming season, Yahoo News reported. Could Fox’s character be poised to launch the new series?
The new season of “Empire” is going to feature more guest stars than ever before and promises to be even more explosive than the show’s monstrous freshman season.
Are you as excited as we are for Season 2 or Empire? After all, season one was not only filled with really good music but a ton of explosive moments too.
The Season 2 premiere of “Empire” will air on FOX on Wednesday September 23 – and we seriously can’t contain our excitement.
