Vodafone allows users in Delhi numbers of their choice

With the new facility, the Delhi NCR consumers are now able to select their mobile phone number combinations on the basis of lucky numbers, vehicle registration number, date of birth etc. The ‘Choose Your Number service has been launched across all stores in the city.

With the new offer, Vodafone subscribers now have the option to choose numeric combinations of their new pre-paid or post-paid connections based on their lucky number, vehicle registration number, date of birth, anniversary or any other favourite number. The company has named this service as “Choose Your Number”, which is now only available in Delhi NCR region.

“Our customer research also indicates that there is a deep interest amongst mobile users to have numbers aligned with a few significant event in their lives, ” Vodafone India business head (Delhi and NCR) Apoorva Mehrotra said.

People have to register their desired combination of figures at any of the above Vodafone outlets.

To obtain your favorite mobile number, customers can approach the nearby Vodafone retailer/Store, requests for his/her preferred number sequence of his/her choice, retailer will check for the availability of the preferred number and retailer will confirm the process and then the customer needs to deposit the requisite documents for activation.

Vodafone India, in addition to Rs 111 000 crores already invested in the country since entry in 2007, has recently announced an additional investment of Rs 13 000 crores for capacity augmentation and new business initiatives, towards the Digital India and Make in India campaign. – ET.
