Volkswagen Names New Boss Amid Emissions Scandal

In Sacramento, California, that state’s top air quality regulator said her agency is preparing a series of actions against Volkswagen in response to the company’s admission that it cheated on tailpipe pollution tests. They would complement the lab tests now used.
The company also said it was suspending a few employees and would reorganize its North America operations after admitting it had cheated on diesel auto emissions tests in the USA through a piece of software.
