Von Miller Went On ‘SNL’ And Used Science To Taunt Cam Newton

Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller tried to make Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton’s life miserable during Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, and it looks as though he’s piling on this week after the Broncos beat the Panthers’ 24-10 in the NFL’s championship game.

As for Newton’s actions during the post-game press conference, Lofton believes that Newton’s remarkable recent success has been a blessing and a curse.

He was introduced to discuss the recent detection of gravitational waves, but instead, he did some Grade-A trolling of Cam Newton and the Panthers. And I said this guy’s already become soft and that’s what he was. Newton has worn flashy cleats during pregame warm-ups every week for the last few seasons.

And you know what?

But that said, Newton is the face of the Panthers franchise and leader of the team. Ghost of Elway got it because – you remember John Elway in the Super Bowl, when he did the twirly move and three guys hit him in the air while he was diving in the end zone.

“My babies came in the mail today”, he wrote, referring to the awards, saying the one he wanted most – Super Bowl MVP – was missing. He answered only two of the questions with very short answers. A lackadaisical-acting Newton failed to dive onto his own fumble at a critical point late in the contest (which a self-professed Superman should’ve had no trouble doing).
