Vontaze Burfict Fined $50K For Hit On Maxx Williams

The suspension was imposed by NFL Vice President of Football Operations MERTON HANKS, who ruled that Burfict’s action placed his opponent at unnecessary risk of injury and should have been avoided. He and his teammates were angered that Wallace wasn’t suspended like Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was for his helmet-to-helmet hit on the Panthers’ Josh Norman that same weekend.
The Broncos (12-4) promised Wallace would pay the price if they got another shot at the Steelers (11-6).
On Monday, Foster claimed multiple Cincinnati Bengals players spit on Steelers players during the Steelers 18-16 victory over the Bengals on Saturday night.
