Voting deadlines to vote in presidential primaries
Bexar County’s Elections Administrator said registered voters are increasing by the year. Alicia Pierce, communications director for the Texas Secretary of State, says registration is fairly simple. “And there you can print, and then sign and mail in your form”.
You can register online, or you can conveniently do it right on your smartphone.
In order to vote in a primary election, Texans will need to register 30 days prior to the election date. You can even use a license for a concealed handgun.
The US election assistance commission has links for each state elections office website. Residents in Oklahoma have until Friday and those living in MS have until Saturday. “If Trump loses or does not perform to expectations because that will be the first major loss which will tell other voters oh well maybe he’s not the person we thought he was”, the Political Science Professor told WJBF News Channel 6.
Voters in Texas have until 5 p.m. Monday to turn in their registration for this year’s primary election.
“There is an effort to register and get out the vote”, he said.
