Vysor lets you manage your Android smartphone from your PC
Basically what Vysor does is that it will mirror your phone’s display on your computer via the Chrome browser once your device is plugged in.
The app was created by Koushik Dutta.
There are already tools like Pushbullet and AirDroid that allow certain interaction with your Android device whilst you are physically away from it, but now a new application called Vysor aims to take that one step further. This neat extension mirrors your Android screen on your computer, complete with keyboard and mouse support.
Smartphones can be used to control computers remotely with the right apps installed on both devices, but there may be cases where you want to do the opposite – control a smartphone from a computer. If you’re an Android user, there’s now a solution. It’s a mobile app testing cloud-based program that works, well, over the cloud.
The Vysor web app for Chrome does all the work. Through the window, users will be able to interact with their phones via their computer and are able to reply messages, play games designed specifically for mobile, launch apps, download apps, and more. Make sure that you have all the required drivers installed on your PC. Use it on your own or share it with a group via Vysor Sync. Tick on the box to enable this.
What’s important to note is that you don’t have to root your device to run Vysor, which is a requirement for similar apps. This will show all the connected devices, just select your Android device and tap on Ok.
Ever get sick of using apps with the small screen on your smartphone?
