Wal-Mart adding 1300 workers in Louisiana for holiday season

Wallchart announced Monday they will hire 1700 seasonal associates in Tennessee for the 2015 holiday season.

“Last year more than half of Wal-Mart’s seasonal employees nationwide continued with the retailer as permanent employees”, the company said in a press release.

Current employees also can sign up to work additional hours, the company said. The retailer said it will hire at total of 3,500 temporary workers at 467 locations in 41 states and Puerto Rico.
