Wanted Florida man taunts Polk County Sheriff’s Office on Facebook
Thursday the sheriff faced news cameras to deliver a few jabs to Hale. “You are such a goofball”.
Police in the US are hunting a man who posted taunting messages on a Facebook page appealing for information relating to his wheareabouts under the username Logan “Finallyfree” Hale.
The sheriff said he was tickled that Hale took to Facebook to taunt him.
Polk County deputies quickly responded to the provoking posting, pointing out that Hale and his accomplice, Tyler Thornton, have each been jailed five times before.
Logan Hale of Polk County Florida is wanted for his alleged involvement in an armed burglary, but the fugitive has been making fun of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office via their Facebook page. Logan Hale, 21, is a wanted man, accused of burglarizing a home in Lakeland, Florida, on August 3, and then pawning the stolen property, local station WTSP reports. They took a shotgun and a few other items and pawned most of their loot, according to the Facebook post. So far, Hale remains on the run and has not responded in the sheriff’s office’s latest post.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Carrie Horstman said, “If Logan is smart, he’ll get off his computer or smart phone and head to the nearest PCSO substation to turn himself in”.
Later he goes on to post, “deputies continue to look for me but are frustrated that I am unable to be located”. “Or give us a call – we’ll be happy to provide transportation”, the department wrote.

Around 5 p.m. Thursday, deputies arrested Hale after he was seen by two deputies who were searching for him based on tips submitted to Crime Stoppers.
In the early hours of yesterday morning, Logan “Finallyfree” Hale wrote: “HELLO here I am”.
