Wanted Florida man taunts sheriff’s office on Facebook
Cops have caught Tyler Thornton who Hale was allegedly working with, and stepped up their efforts to ensnare Hale, which resulted in him being taken into custody on Thursday night.
Sheriff Grady Judd hast plenty to say to Logan Hale, 21 about his recent Facebook posts.
The sheriff said he was tickled that Hale took to Facebook to taunt him.
On Thursday, Donna Wood, the Public Information Officer, said that Hale still remained at large despite the back and forth between him and the deputies on Facebook.
“Here I am…” And another one read, “Deputies continue to look for me but are frustrated that I am unable to be located”.
Ironically, Hale’s Facebook name is, “Logan Finally Free Hale”.
The teacher, Mary Lynn Higgs, said that Logan was a polite boy back when he was her student.
That same day he posted, “Just got done doing two yeara up the road…”
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded, “You would be wise to turn yourself in”.
On Tuesday Hale reported he was still on the loose. He was found riding as a passenger in a vehicle in Lakeland around 5 p.m. Hale’s family has been cooperative, deputies said. “Or give us a call – we’ll be happy to provide transportation”, the department wrote. “863-298-6200”. Hale’s charges are Armed Burglary, Grand Theft of Firearm, Grand Theft over $10,000, and Dealing in Stolen Property.
Well, they are, if you consider Logan Hale before he was arrested by deputies as a different guy than the Logan Hale who ran out of luck and was cuffed by deputies.
With their success in capturing the fugitive, Sheriff Grady Judd described Logan’s taunts on Facebook as an epic fail. You can download an app for iPhone and Droid to anonymously report crime.
