Warm and sunny weekend, hot and hazy Monday
Monday will remain mainly dry with morning sun mixing with some afternoon clouds. At least the amount of humidity in the air will be a lot less as we begin to see our flow of weather come right out of the northwest.
Tonight, under partly cloudy to mostly clear skies, temperatures will once again fall to around 70.
Monday? Sunny skies with highs in the mid-80s. It will be partly sunny with a chance of rain each day. Our forecast splits the difference, since there appears to be enough drive to send most of the moisture east by noon Wednesday.
The forecast for Sunday is sunny with a high of around 88 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Portland.
The cold front is expected to move across the state Tuesday, bringing possible thunderstorms with it.
A few showers are possible Friday night as a cold front approaches from the west. Lows will be in the 60s. As it look snow, sunny, dry, and pleasant conditions will continue Sunday and into the 4 of July. High: Low-mid 80s. Expect each day to feature a chance of showers and storms (around 30 – 40%) with highs mainly in the 80s.
