Warren: Trump makes GOP leaders ‘cower’
Donald’s presidential bid has been rampant with outlandish moments that mimic reality television in more ways than one. Everything was so beautifully orchestrated, she managed to say all the right things and refused to be drawn into saying anything remotely controversial.
In a statement, Trump hit back hard, noting his leading numbers in recent polls, including “the unimportant Huffington Post poll”, and his role in raising the issues of border security and immigration, “the bad United States trade deals, strengthening our military, taking care of our great Vets and the repeal and replacement of Obamacare”.
In the wake of Romney’s dismal showing, GOP party chairman Reince Preibus called for a dramatic change in party thinking and orthodoxy with regard to Hispanic voters, including a consensus on a comprehensive immigration reform.
Tapper persisted, pointing out that he wasn’t asking Trump to explain his divorces. The soft-spoken veteran believes Obama is “incompetent” and bristles when recalling a relative who once said he was racist because he doesn’t like the president. The notoriety could also likely erode Trump’s ability to charge a premium for his real estate, Anson said. “I know he says he tells it like it is, too”. If they want to photoshop clown make-up onto him in every photo, hey.
Walker did, however, comment on the Fox News poll that showed him trailing Trump.
Despite sparking outrage for calling some Mexican immigrants “rapists” and drug-runners, Trump is starting to climb higher in the polls and become more popular with Republican primary voters. Trump’s interview was unscripted and he spoke with passion and refreshing candor. Barring a miracle, it is unlikely the American people would put Donald Trump in the White House, but then again, stranger things have happened like George W Bush winning not one but two terms as President. Not only is the public not as anti-immigrant as many Republicans are, but almost three times as many adults say the party’s stand will hurt it as think it will help.
Fox News reports that “his views resonate with many: 44 percent of voters think Trump is “basically right” on the issue”. And 59% of Republicans said they “admire” Trump, to 28% who say he’s “just a loudmouth”. For starters, to their surprise, pollsters have yet to find any unifying demographic variables among Trump voters; they’re not from any particular region of the country or even from any particular wing of the GOP. The pageant, co-owned by Trump, was later picked up by Reelz Channel.
Meanwhile, other GOP presidential contenders are trying to reclaim the mantle of Beltway outsider.
Christie’s performance so far hasn’t impressed Bill Borrebach, a 68-year-old resident of Sandwich, New Hampshire, who makes it his business to see as many candidates as he can in this first-in-the-nation primary state.
