Warriors Beat Cavaliers in 2017 Says NBA 2K Simulation
The Golden State Warriors are so flush with talent they can unseat the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals even if they are not firing on all cylinders, TV pundits said on Tuesday.
But none of that will matter to Cleveland since James, who stretched his Finals streak to an astonishing seven straight years dating back to his time in Miami, is playing the best playoff basketball of a career that already includes three NBA titles and a trio of Finals MVP awards. The favorite in the opener of the NBA Finals has covered 11 of the past 12 years.
No one could imagine back in July 2014 when LeBron announced his return back to Cleveland, that he would be guiding this team to their 3rd straight finals appearance (his seventh straight). And since 2000, the NBA Finals has pumped out a 36-48-5 O/U count (57 percent Unders).
James didn’t speak to reporters Saturday either, leaving Love to serve as the team’s unofficial spokesman as the sports world inched closer to a matchup that seemed destined from the moment last season’s finals ended. The Cavaliers didn’t score for the first three minutes and 56 seconds of that period, while the Warriors went on a 13-0 run. Teammates also boasting at least all-star production, based on regular-season performance (PER of 20 or higher), include Kyrie Irving (23.0) and Kevin Love (21.1).
All has gone according to plan in the Western Conference play-offs where they swept the Portland Trail Blazers, Utah Jazz and the San Antonio Spurs to make history as the first team to enter the NBA Finals with a 12-0 record. Golden State Warriors’ Zaza Pachulia shoots during an NBA basketball practice, Wednesday, May 31, 2017, in Oakland, Calif. The Cavaliers face the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday.
James will push Golden State to the limit. Playing through the same injury in the conference finals, Curry scored 27.9 points on 44.3 percent shooting. That Game 1 trend is 3-9-1 O/U since the 2004 finals. “It will be a massive upset, I think, if they are not there each and every year”.
But if you want to know how it ends, it comes down to Game 7 with Kevin Durant scoring a game-high 41 points to help seal the Warriors’ 132-106 victory and the title.
He joined the Warriors, only signing a two-year deal with an opt-out clause after this season, for one reason: the opportunity to play Thursday night.

Stephen Curry, pictured at Vivint Smart Home Arena on May 8, 2017 in Salt Lake City, is looking to rebound against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2017 NBA Finals. Steph Curry gave a nod to that last night. Said Durant, “That’s all this is about”. For the health of the league, I hope they are all classics.
The Warriors have added Kevin Durant to their team, and he rewarded them by having a sensational year.
The Warriors look to be on a mission, and it is possible that James won’t be able to derail that mission.
The Cavs on the other hand have pretty much the same roster as last season with a few moves to bolster their bench. Both these teams come in with high-powered offenses.
“We understand your (Green) greatest strength is your greatest weakness”.
Durant also did a good job defensively in his 1-on-1 matchups with James, who still managed 28 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists but also turned the ball over eight times. Last year, Russell Westbrook was Durant’s teammate. Can other games or matches or series live up on those two measures? You don’t overcome a 3-1 deficit in the National Basketball Association playoffs.
Now you do not have to be a fan of LeBron but no one can deny he is in the discussion for one of the top five players ever.
