Stephen Curry sat out again in their game against Houston Rockets as expected but this time, the Golden State Warriors were ready. Curry, after missing two games, was back in action, but last just 14 minutes in which he scored 5 points.
The NBA’s reigning MVP left the game Saturday night in the second quarter when he was kicked by Jameer Nelson of the Denver Nuggets. Though Curry and Klay Thompson played, the $82 million man has improved to another level, and displayed it against the backdrop of a hobbled Golden State roster.
The Warriors seemed to be coping without him as they led by 26 but a late charge from the Nuggets sent it to overtime at 102-102 before Golden State prevailed. He left the arena about 10 minutes after the game ended, after being attended to by medical personnel.
Green finished with 29 points, 17 rebounds, 14 assists and 4 steals in a 111-108 win over the Denver Nuggets which nearly got away from the Warriors.

According to Curry, the injury occurred when a Nuggets player made with his leg in the second quarter.
“There’s nobody who competes harder than Draymond”, Walton said. Beyond the disappointment of going from blowout to nail biter, we shouldn’t actually take that much from this game – if they had a duly healthy roster, they probably have enough to put the game so far out of reach that there is no Nuggets comeback.
