Warriors fired up for Bucks’ visit Friday
The Warriors get a chance to avenge their lone loss when the Milwaukee Bucks limp into Oakland for Friday night’s matchup.
The Warriors beat the Suns 128-103 with another huge third quarter explosion, and overall outscoring the Suns 79-37 in the third and second quarters. The Warriors took control and the lead in a flash.
“We just felt disrespected a little bit”, Warriors guard Klay Thompson said.
Coming from one of the league’s most brash and bombastic teams when it comes to celebrations, how could the Warriors not like the taste of their own medicine?
“You never know in this game”, Wade said. “Stats may look a certain way and you can make judgments off of that”. They were the aggressors, but you’ve got to give them credit for doing that.
Bill Kennedy was one of the officials working the game two days after telling Yahoo Sports that he is a gay man.
Curry finished the game with 25 points and seven assists in only 30 minutes on the floor. Apparently, the Warriors were none too pleased at what they considered unsportsmanlike behavior by Carter-Williams and the Bucks. “A lot of respect to their team”.
The NBA has set up the more hard Western games for the Warriors in 2016: Three games with the Oklahoma City Thunder, four with the Spurs. “For us, we’re kind of taking it as a big game, and we’ve got to come out and play”. But he didn’t want to go and wanted to stay in the game. That’s why we’re in the National Basketball Association. Overall, the team looked re-focused and re-committed to the type of basketball Kerr and Walton have wanted to play since the beginning of the season. Behind sharpshooting “Splash Brothers” named Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, Golden State makes three-point shooting a huge priority and a lethal weapon in its arsenal. But I love the intensity. “Obviously it’s going to be a big surge up there”.
The Golden State Warriors wasted no time in getting back to their winning ways with a victory of epic proportions. It became more about winning consecutive games than the ultimate goal of winning another championship, but fortunately that cloud lifted after the Bucks defeat and we were treated to a sensational performance on Wednesday night at the Oracle. “It’s like, ‘All right, you realize you see us again next Friday, in our building too.’ So that’s going to be fun”.
“We needed to come back and get a win”, Green insisted.
At the end of the Saturday’s game, Bucks guard Michael Carter-Williams dunked the ball and stared down Golden State’s bench, an act Warriors forward Draymond Green described on Bay Area radio station KNBR.
Bucks: Center Greg Monroe (left MCL sprain) is listed as doubtful. He missed both losses in Los Angeles to the Lakers and Clippers. In the first quarter, interim coach Luke Walton told his players, “This is a road trip hangover right now”. The source described the talks as informal.
Boozer is a 13-year veteran and also has played for Cleveland, Utah and Chicago. Over that time, Curry and Thompson combined for 56 points on just 24 shots attempted.
