The numbers get even more mind-numbing from there. “But by the time the game started, he wasn’t with us anymore”. “But I know this and I agree with Steve that we need to watch his minutes”.

By half time the lead was down to 14 and it was in the fourth quarter when Golden State found their groove and silenced the home fans at Staples Center.

“It’s a motivational tool for us”, Warriors backup Shaun Livingston said of the season-opening streak.
