Golden State’s record 24-game winning streak to start the season came to an end on Saturday in a 108-95 loss to the Bucks in Milwaukee, with interim coach Luke Walton saying the Warriors “ran of gas”. Stephen Curry scored 28 points on 10-of-21 shooting (2 of 8 from 3-point range), but we didn’t see him take over and have that dynamic stretch we are used to seeing. Milwaukee, who also played on Friday in Toronto before flying home, improved to 10-15 with the win.

The win makes it the sixth time in franchise history that the Bucks were able to knock off a team with a streak of at least 10 games.
Golden State fell to 24-1.
Draymond Green had 24 points and 11 rebounds. Since joining the league in 1968, the Bucks have snapped five winning streaks of 12 games or more, and each team has gone on to win the National Basketball Association championship.
The Warriors lost this game with the Bucks only having nine players available, as Damien Inglis, Chris Copeland, Tyler Ennis and Miles Plumlee didn’t play tonight.
HORNETS 123, GRIZZLIES 99: Kemba Walker had 33 points and six assists, Nicolas Batum added 20 points, and the Charlotte Hornets beat the Memphis Grizzlies for their fourth straight win.
Even with Klay Thompson out due to a sprained right ankle and Harrison Barnes still missing because of a sprain to his left, Golden State overcame its first sub-40 percent shooting effort in 53 regular-season games to outlast Boston 124-119 in double overtime.
If the Bucks hope to have a chance, they’ll likely attempt to slow the Warriors down.
Though, the Warriors managed to cut down a couple of double-digit deficits, the young Bucks kept pushing back, not allowing themselves to be intimidated by the fact that they were playing the world champions and one of the greatest teams in history. – Walton, when asked if there a sense of relief that the winning streak had ended.
