Watch Disclosure With Lorde & Sam Smith On SNL

Saturday Night Live is known for it’s surprise cameos from week to week, and while we haven’t really seen many so far this year we could be in store for a doozy tonight.

During the duo’s performances of singles “Omen” and “Magnets” off their recently released album Caracal, brothers Howard and Guy Lawrence brought out superstar vocalists/pop stars Sam Smith and Lorde to sing their guest parts on the tracks, respectively. “Wow – the fact that a few people thought i was lip syncing on snl is an awesome compliment!” she wrote and later made it clear that she had never lip-synced and “will never” do it.

The Kiwi singer performed with British electronica duo Disclosure, whose album the song appears on. Like the pro that she is, she commanded the stage in striking pink eye shadow and her newly shorn locks, while rocking the hell out of a glittery black tuxedo dress. “You can really hear her sound – she has this sassy yet vulnerable thing”.
