Watch Eleven star shave her head for ‘Stranger Things’ role
Millie Bobby Brown is known for her role as Eleven from the Netflix smash hit “Stranger Things”.
The video, set to the Beyonce song “Pretty Hurts”, depicts Brown in the barber’s chair, making goofy faces as her tresses are reduced to boot-camp readiness.
“I got the call back and then I did a Skype meeting and there was nothing at all about head shaving”, she said.
Stranger Things is now streaming on Netflix if you haven’t seen it yet!
The pair told Rolling Stone that some TV execs didn’t like the idea of having four children as the show’s lead characters when the target audience wasn’t other children.
Besides her acting chops, she’s also responsible for what’s perhaps the most iconic new look on TV: that buzzcut.

Both the Duffer brothers and Millie agreed that Charlize looked “badass” as Furiosa in Mad Max: Fury Road. “Enjoy! #buzzed.” In it, she can be seen with long brunette tresses. “[We asked] ‘Charlize looks totally badass, right?’ Millie agreed; Charlize looked badass”. It was a pretty dramatic scene.
