Watch Hunger Games premiere LIVE as stars hit the red carpet
It seems that Katniss Everdeen didn’t just make an impact in her fictional world but she also made an impact in the real world, and to the actress who portrayed her-Jennifer Lawrence. I got mad at myself. Josh Hutcherson revealed that the set of “The Hunger Games” is no exception and even shared how one of his antics had Jennifer Lawrence peeing in her trousers.
The actress has now said that the inspiration behind her empowered Lenny essay came from none other than the Mockingjay herself.
She found out about the disparity in their salaries when Sony was hacked and details of the company’s emails were leaked online.
We can only imagine the magnitude of the effect that the character has on Jennifer Lawrence, who plays Katniss Everdeen in the film adaptation of the Suzanne Collins hit series.
The impressive lineup is joined by The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 co-stars Academy Award®-winner Julianne Moore, Mahershala Ali, Natalie Dormer, Wes Chatham, Elden Henson and Evan Ross.
Luckily, now she’s done with playing coy both in her latest film and in her professional, as she noted in her essay for Lena Dunham’s feminist newsletter in October.
Jennifer Lawrence did have an emotional goodbye to the film franchise and her character as she filmed the final scenes of the movie.
“I wanted her to be a warrior right away, I wanted her to want to be a leader”, 25 year old Lawrence admitted.
She said that she didn’t see how this character couldn’t have inspired her. She said she inspired her a lot while reading the books and that’s one of the reasons she wanted to play the character on the big screen.
The three lead actors have forged a close friendship during the filming of The Hunger Games franchise, with Hemsworth describing Lawrence and Hutcherson as his “best friends’ earlier this week”.
“I’m over trying to find the “adorable” way to state my opinion and still be likable!” she wrote.
