Phone Arena noted that LeBron James earned two titles in his unbelievable National Basketball Association career and has been a spokesman for Samsung in the past.
In the latest VR film starring Lebron James, viewers catch a glimpse of what sort of training it takes to be a professional athlete at the top of their game.
The product of a partnership among Oculus, Samsung, and Uninterrupted, you can now watch the 12-minute Gear VR “experience” known as Striving for Greatness, which gives you something better than a court side seat as LeBron practices perfecting his form. Facebook plunked down $2 billion a year ago to acquire Oculus, considered a pioneer in the world of virtual reality.
Samsung has also released a new ad campaign for the video, which you can watch below. Experts think that the film can not be described as a typical virtual reality.
Now, after Samsung partnered up with the basketball sensation, as well as the Facebook owned Oculus Rift and James’ company – Uninterrupted, they launched a video similar to those previously released by other competing VR developers.
You can download the video from the Oculus store or via the Samsung Milk VR app. Although it is not a device and can not be used independently on its own, it is more suitable as an accessory dock for the current generation smartphone and offers the most solid base for giving a fantastic VR experience.
Along with Samsung, we have collaboration from Oculus, Facebook, Felix and Paul Studios as well as Springhill Entertainment, a media production company created by Lebron James. Oculus is poised to come up with its VR headset for the consumers in the early part of 2016, and can now boast of having one of the biggest athlete’s of the world under its contract.
