WATCH Slipknot’s Corey Taylor b***h-slap WWE NXT fighter Baron Corbin
Who knows-perhaps the rock star will be in the ring for a WrestleMania match.
– As PWMania.com reported, Slipknot’s Corey Taylor was watching the WWE NXT matches at the Aftershock festival in Sacamento, California today.
NXT is WWE’s cutting edge brand devoted to what’s cool, what’s now, what the kids are into, so, naturally, that means one of NXT’s wrestlers is now feuding with the lead singer of Slipknot.
Taylor and Corbin had traded barbs via social media before the event, finally meeting face to face ringside at Aftershock. Towards the end of the match between Corbin and Samoa Joe, Corbin got up in Taylor’s face and pushed him around, shouting, “Slipknot ain’t nobody in my house!” The angle started when Corbin tried to give Taylor a t-shirt, which was returned by Taylor.
Corbin and Taylor have had a feud brewing for a few time, as WWE showed the two having a staredown with each other during an interview for Alternative Press. Taylor told Wrestling with Pop Culture he has been a fan for years. But I know it’s physically taxing and it takes great skill to make it look good and no skill to make it look crappy. I doubt it, but NXT is the flawless venue for something like this and Taylor.
